Service Description

IMPORTANT: • If you will not use SPF daily, you should NOT perform this treatment. • A good post skincare regimen is recommended to see optimal results. Our medical grade AHAs Pro-G 35 and 70 are formulated as moderately intense (medium depth) peel procedures and are suitable for most skin types, but should not be used on sensitive, very dry or rosacea skins. These highly effective peels are ideal for patients with acne, acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone and age spots. We offer a client consultation where the Esthetician will determine the best strength and formula of peel for your individual needs based on your skin condition, Fitzpatrick, number of layers, and your available recovery time. TREATMENT: The peels are performed in a series of 4 to 6 procedures on a weekly or bimonthly basis (for longstanding conditions the client may require a series of up to 8 peels) AHAs can produce a light reddening and/or slight itching on the application area. This is a temporary and absolutely normal phenomenon of the product. We always recommend a high SPF to be applied daily. Recommended for any Skin Type and any Age. Extractions not included. *** 3 Technologies are utilized: • Brush Sonic • Ultrasonic Peeling • Cryo *** Add on Suggestions: • Extraction (if required) $10 • Peel layer (If Required) $20 CONTRAINDICATIONS: Sensitive skin or Rosacea, Cold sores, Pregnancy, lactation or if you use oral contraceptives. FREQUENLY ASKED QUESTIONS: Can your peels be used on Melasma? I know that this is the 'Mask of Pregnancy', but can a person still have this condition after pregnancy and if so can this be treated with peels? Also, what products do you recommend for Melasma? Answer: Our peels can be very effective for Melasma. We suggest that you start with the Pro-G 70 because you don't want to inflame the skin and possibly cause a problem with the skin getting darker in the inflamed areas after a peel. We will also use a more gentle peel first for Melasma. We have very good results with glycolic peels and products for Melasma. For Melasma, we have a medical grade hyperpigmentation regimen that the esthetician will discuss with you in your client consultation. Sunburn Alert: The Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) such as Glycolic Acid may temporarily increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while having this treatment and for a week afterwards.
